Who can use ADBI’s E-Learning website?

Anyone who would like to learn more about sustainable development in Asia and the Pacific is encouraged to sign up and complete courses of interest. Users range from government officials and private sector professionals to scholars and students from institutions worldwide.

What kinds of courses are offered?

All courses fall under ADBI’s Capacity Building and Training’s Priority Themes and are taught by top subject experts.

How long does it take to complete a course?

To complete a course, users are required to watch all assigned unit videos. A given course will generally consist of 1 – 5-unit videos, each 1 – 15 minutes in duration. Users are also advised to review the course’s suggested reading materials. At the end of a course, users will be asked to answer a few evaluation questions. There is no time limit set on the course and users can go along at their own pace.

How do I sign up to take a course?

New users are kindly requested to complete a registration form and create a username and password.
Upon logging in, registered users will be able to access the courses on offer.

Why can’t I log into my account?

Please note that three consecutive unsuccessful login attempts will automatically lock your account for security purposes. In this event, please wait 60 minutes before attempting to login again.

When should I expect to receive my certificate after completing a course?

Certificates are available under the “My Courses” tab once the course and evaluation are completed. This may take up to 24 hours after completion. If you do not receive it within 24 hours, please contact us at course-inquiry@elearning-adbi.org.

How do I get a certificate with the authentication ID?

For the time being, only the latest course, “The Role of Central Banks and Financial Supervisory Authorities in Governing Sustainable Finance”, “Green Investment: Renewable Energy”, “Demographic Transition and its Impacts“, “Governing Sustainable Finance“, and “Climate Change and Sovereign Risk” has this feature. We are working on adding this to other courses in the future.
